Anahita the pure blood princess’s Weblog

{December 23, 2008}   Long time

It’s been SO long since I last updated… almost 3 months. Well, miss boring here still doesn’t have as much news as you would expect after 3 months of not boring the web sick.  Here’s the new stuff-

1) I got the twilight movie- a few weeks ago and the twilight book- for my bday

2) The BIG day… (ew.. for those who thought otherwise, I mean MY BIRTHDAY.)

3) My half yearly exams are finally over, and I can finally get away from those cursed textbooks. Finally.

4) A few minutes ago, I finished a completely awesome book called Maximum Ride- Saving the world and Other Extreme Sports, which is the third of a trilogy by James Patterson, and also has a really cute pair of teenagers, Max and Fang (Yeah those are their names.. Max is the girl and Fang is the guy… they’re mutants- half humans- half birds who save the world from a wicked world domination plan hatched by their creators. )Yep. I like these kinda books. So what?

5) I found a really great song by Kelly Clarkson- Because of you (that’s the name of the song, in case you’re really dumb (no offence) and didn’t figure it out

6) I won the second prize in a sports competition at school. BIG surprise. I knew I was okay at sports.. I just never got a chance to participate.

7) I read Tales of Beedle the Bard (another book by J.K. Rowling, for all the people living under a rock in the Sahara for the past 6 months)

Well, that’s most of what’s happened. Someday, years from now, I’m going to have something really interesting to write about. Till then, right on with the boredom! Anyways I can’t stop thinking about the girl (Max) in the book I mentioned earlier. I think she must be one of my favourite fictional characters after Edward and Renesmee Cullen from Twilight (Stephenie Meyer). Max is one of the strongest characters I’ve ever seen, even more than Melanie Stryder from SM’s’ Host’. Her full name is somewhat unusual- Maximum. I guess that’s something to do with her… species. Fang, on the other hand is just Fang. They have a sort of coven of other people like them and they’re like a family. The group looks like human teenagers from ages 8 (the youngest, Angel) to 14 (the eldest, Max and Fang) but they’ve got wings. Angel’s the only one with powers other than flying- she can read, and sometimes control human minds. The story is exciting and with twists and turns on every one of its 133 chapters and 403 pages. It’s a must read. God, I sound like a book review. Anyways I’m now off to search for more of James Patterson’s books online. Catch ya later.

coffee says:

seems likely that they will come out with a Twilight sequel pretty soon, there’s a crazy lot of ticket sales at stake
